Erica Blaire Roby

Roby took a course in barbecue cooking with celebrity pitmaster Harry Soo. It was a success that Roby became a qualified pitmaster and she soon started working in a barbecue restaurant.
Her love for barbecue started as a hobby. She eventually became obsessed with the art of barbecuing. She started out by cooking on her backyard patio. She then went on to compete at barbecue competitions all across the country, where she cooked alongside some of the most renowned pit masters in America. Since then she has started a series pop-ups throughout Dayton, Ohio. She hopes one day to open a food cart.

The Food Network BBQ Team Brawl's third season will see two of the most renowned chefs around the world team up to fight for the title of best griller. Anne Burrell, Jet Tila and Bobby Flay will face off in a dinner party brawl sure to be memorable. Matt Roth (BBQ Brawl's favorite) returns as the Austin-based Smokin Beauty owner with Thao.
Ann explained to the contestants what she was making, while Jet (from Food Network BBQ Team Brawl) let them choose. Team Bobby fell for his ceviche while Jet let them choose. This time Team Anne has an advantage. Anne even leapt down on Team Bobby's throat while he was reaching to get an ingredient.
As with all Food Network competitions, the new season of BBQ Team Brawl features some familiar faces. Lee Ann Whippen, a 23-year veteran of barbecuing, will be the team's judge. She is also the managing partner of Deviled Pig in Tampa and a judge for the Kansas City Barbecue Society. She has won several state and national barbecue championships.
Flay vs Symon was another contest for the best barbecue sandwich. Lee Ann chose to make a sandwich the traditional way, while Susie chose a more exotic approach.
